Genie is a traveling nurse doing a stint in Birmingham. She’s a shifter, but her animal is a tiny owl. She’s much safer in human form than in animal form, but she has the protection of the dominant motorcycle club in the city, and they help provide a safe place for her to shift and fly.
Dev is an extinct snake shifter, his head half the size of a small sports car when he shifts into his largest size. He helps Brooke, Alabama’s diminutive Master Vampire, run her empire, and whether he does so with kindness or cruelty is entirely up to the subjects he’s responsible for.
Elijah and Ezra are cougar shifters, born in cougar form. Their very existence breaks all the rules, so they were raised by the Concilio, but Brooke has agreed to take them on and try to humanize them, to add to her little island of misfits.
What happens when these four shifters collide into unexpected circumstances?
