I’m sponsoring a GIVEAWAY for an Authors After Dark 2014 Registration ($240 value).
There are a few caveats — the organizer won’t send your registration confirmation until you’ve provided reservation confirmation for the hotel (be sure to ask for the AAD special rate!) for Wednesday through Saturday night at the Charlotte Westin. And, of course, you’ll have to get yourself to Charlotte.
Two ways to enter! Comment here or on my facebook post (do it in both places and you’re entered twice!).
I’ll draw for a winner Monday night. And, bonus, one person will also win a What’s Your Safeword? t-shirt. Just let me know your size, and I’ll get it to you at AAD!
I’m looking forward to meeting lots of readers and authors — hope to see you there!
Want to be notified when I have a new book coming out, or will be making an appearance somewhere?
Everyone who signs up for my mailing list before Tuesday, June 24th will be entered to win a free ebook copy of Safeword: Matte, and will receive an advanced excerpt of Safeword: Matte — The Honeymoon when it’s available.
In preparation for the release of Safeword: Matte — In Training, you can buy the first book, Safeword: Matte, for $3.99!
Matte, pronounced mah-tay, is the word used in some forms of martial arts to stop a fight. It’s the Japanese word for stop or wait. Sam (short for Samantha) has made a hobby out of learning the various fighting disciplines, but she also happens to be a sexual submissive. What better safeword than matte?
Sam wants to find someone to submit to who she can’t beat in a fight. She’s tried to make it work with men from the scene who know nothing about fighting, but it doesn’t feel real to her – she needs someone who can truly control her. However, after dating from the fight scene and discovering not all guys like to spank their girlfriends, she’s decided to just back away from the whole dating thing for a while… until Fate decides to step in.
Warning: This title contains graphic language, consensual BDSM, bondage, and use of toys including crops, clamps, canes, and floggers.

I love the cover for Safeword: Matte – In Training, and I’m excited about finally releasing the next part of Ethan and Sam’s story.
Safeword: Matte – In Training takes us through the training, the wedding, and some romance after the wedding, and is due to be released June 20, 2014.
The third book will be titled Safeword: Matte – The Honeymoon, and is scheduled for release August 11, 2014.
Kitty Angel at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews gave the new edition of Safeword: Rainbow 4½ stars and rated it a Purest Delight.
She had lots of nice things to say, here are a few:
The extended version of Rainbow had me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see how they would work out their problems with a TPE and how they would manage if they were to compromise.
….Candace draws you into her story and doesn’t let go. It was very hard to put the book down and walk away to do anything besides read it.
Ms. Blevins’ BDSM scenes were so well written that you felt yourself being drawn into the scene.
I love the way Candace Blevins writes, incorporates the real world into the BDSM world and brings an HEA even in situations that may seem hopeless.

VRainey at Night Owl reviewed Safeword: Rainbow and named it a Top Pick, as well as giving it 4½ Stars!
Here are a few of the things she said:
The chemistry between Tyler and Vivian is blistering hot. The sex scenes were scorching hot. While I am not a masochist, the extreme sex scenes did not seem over the top or unrealistic.
I loved that when it was too much Vivian was willing to say her safe word.
This book is well written. The main and secondary characters were realistic. I love this series and can’t wait to read more in this series.

Robin at Sizzling Hot Books gave the new edition of Safeword: Rainbow a Five Heart review, and said:
Safeword: Rainbow is very well-written; the writing flows naturally and I couldn’t put the book down. The hero and heroine are fascinating characters, multi-dimensional and people I would be interested in meeting. The sex scenes are so full of description that I can close my eyes and easily picture everything.
She also warns:
Safeword: Rainbow is hardcore BDSM so if you’re looking for some kinky, sensual play and light BDSM then you will most likely not be comfortable reading this book.
She had lots more nice things to say — check out her review to see the rest.
